About Allie
Allie Barth has more than a decade of experience serving stakeholders through relationship management, strategic planning, communications and marketing. In her newly formed consultancy, Allie Barth Consulting, she serves as a Collaborator.
Most recently, she was the senior vice president of industry relations at the American Gaming Association (AGA). Barth led the AGA’s educational strategy, advanced member engagement to provide demonstrable value to the association’s member companies and professionals, ensure member retention and renewal and oversaw its large-scale trade shows, the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) brand and portfolio of events: G2E Las Vegas and G2E Asia. She initially joined AGA to develop its communications and public affairs team and campaign, including its evergreen Get to Know Gaming initiative that proves the economic value of casinos to communities throughout the U.S.
Prior to joining the AGA, Barth served in an industry communications capacity for the U.S. Travel Association, the nation’s leading voice for increasing travel to and within the United States. Barth’s core function for U.S. Travel was developing the organization’s internal and external communications, which are founded in authoritative research. She was also integral to forming and executing strategic campaign initiatives, including Vote Travel and Travel Effect.
Previously, Barth held various roles—principally communications and marketing functions—for the Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), which promotes, sells, and markets the City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle as destinations for meetings and tourism. At the CVB, she contributed to rebranding, website, and interactive media development, among other integrated marketing/communications.
Barth is a graduate of James Madison University. She, her husband, and son reside outside of Washington, D.C.
